Our client a member based Sacco with a primary goal of providing affordable financial services to its members is seeking to urgently recruit a qualified and highly motivated individual to fill the vacant position of a Customer Service Associate

Job Summary

Provide splendid customer services to customers in a professional, friendly and courteous manner at all times by acting as a first level liaison person, provide product/services information to the public and resolve any emerging problems that customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Duties

a. Receive inquiries, complaints, feedback and respond to general member enquiries accordingly while identifying and assessing their needs to achieve high level of satisfaction respond to all customers accordingly.

b. Provide guidance on on-boarding process and registration to new members, loan eligibility advises and overall Sacco products or services.

c. Attend to all walk-in client queries for resolution and mobilize deposits through Sacco all platforms including following up and activation of dormant accounts

d. Manage inbound and outbound calls, respond to customer service emails, individual work emails and process all member requests and assist in administrative functions of the office.

e. Cross sell Sacco products and follow up and activation of dormant accounts and review and act on member change requests.

f. Resolve all inquiries raised through online platforms and or escalate to the relevant business units

g. Perform any other duty that may be allocated from time to time.

Requirements

1. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer service / relations, sales & marketing or market penetration experience in a financial institution

2. Experience in digital marketing will be an added advantage

3. A diploma or an under graduate degree in a business-related field is desired

4. Effective Communication with capacity to listen too.

5. Excellent interpersonal customer care and relationship management and

6. Public speaking & presentation techniques

7. Outstanding critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills

8. Good selling techniques and negotiating skills are an added advantage.

Salary.

A starting consideration of Kes 30,000.00 will be offered to the best candidate that will be improved after successful probation period.
