Our client a restaurant and grill located at Narok is seeking to employ a Restaurant Manager with excellent customer service skills to ensure that the day to day operations of a restaurant run as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Duties

  1. Oversee the day-to-day and coordinate daily restaurant and grill management operations and demonstrate strong leadership among the restaurant staff.
  2. Maintain the restaurant’s revenue and profitability through set target in all functions of the restaurant including income and expenses,
  3. Ensure quality standards are observed and maintained at all times,
  4. Staff management including hiring, training, setting targets and work schedules.
  5. Managing inventory and estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
  6. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  7. Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
  8. Lead the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service and respond efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints
  9. Work collaboratively with other staff Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  10. Develop and implement initiatives to improve profitability while effectively managing cost and focusing on business growth.

Requirements

  1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in food and beverages, hospitality management or culinary
  2. Proven work experience at least as a restaurant supervisor and above
  3. Strong leadership, management and organizational skills.
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  5. Strong analytical and reporting skills
  6. A person of high integrity with capacity to be flexible as the situation may demand and work for long hours.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work together as a team
  8. Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  9. Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  10. Acute financial management, computer proficiency and POS skills

Compensation

A working compensation of Kes 45,000.00 will be offered to the suitable candidate
