Our client one of the top tire insurance companies licensed to transact General insurance business is seeking to employ dynamic and results-oriented Unit Managers to join their growing ambitious, customer-focused team in Niarobi.
Job Summary
To play a critical role in driving sales performance, building and mentoring sales teams, and ensuring that the firm continues to deliver service beyond the obvious.
Duties
a. Recruit, select, train, mentor, motivate, and supervise independent agents, direct sales force and key account holders.
b. To drive and achieve all set annual revenue budgets, manpower growth of the unit sales force (Agents) by building of business pipelines and strong relationship with partners to ensure business retention through customer loyalty.
c. Source and grow sustainable business for the company.
d. Expand and manage the business portfolio by participating in tender business and corporate/ sme business acquisition.
e. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements.
Desired requirements for an ideal candidate
a. Diploma or Degree in a business-related field (added advantage) and must have had a minimum KCSE grade C plain
b. Those with Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or Diploma in insurance have a definite added advantage.
c. Proven track record of sales experience in insurance or financial products and team management for at least supervisory level.
d. A mature, dynamic and focused person who is at least 27 years of age.
e. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Compensation
A performance-based retainer, own business commissions and override will be offered to the successful candidates.
