Our client an engineering firm engineering works, services and supplies in mechanical, civil, automotive, electrical engineering and services coupled with office, furniture and general hardware supplies at Lungalunga Road, Industrial Area, Nairobi, Kenya is seeking to employ a Customer Service officer with training in customer service or front office service

Job Summary

Responsible for being the point of contact between a company and its customers, to specifically handling customer communication, service delivery and sorting challenges related to customer and product support issues.

Duties

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns by providing timely and informative responses to client questions.
  2. To provide an efficient and high-quality customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and facilitating streamlined customer engagement and order processing
  3. Promptly handling customer inquiries at the front office, via email, telephone, chat, and other platforms.
  4. Provide knowledgeable help to customers and go the extra mile in providing the correct details to customer queries.
  5. Address client needs and issues by coordinating with other departments as necessary and identify and escalate customer complex requests to managers.
  6. Adhere to excellent service delivery standards and Service Level Agreement in resolving customer grievances quickly and effectively.
  7. Share feedback on client needs, preferences, and potential opportunities with relevant departments.
  8. Manage inbound telephone traffic efficiently, answering calls and directing them to the appropriate department or individual
  9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the product and payments team for faster resolutions.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. One must have training in customer service or front office service and proficiency in computer skills including microsoft office
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients in a clear and professional manner.
  3. Effective organizational skills with a high level of attention to details.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Effective organizational skills to manage and prioritize incoming requests, inquiries, and orders.
  6. The capability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
  7. A team player with ability to handle pressure and maintain composure during peak workload situations.

Compensation

A working salary of Kes 20,000.00 (net) will be given to the most suitable candidate
