Corporate Account Manager

Our client a fast growing sacco with a head office in Nairobi a branch at Mombasa and satellite offices in Nakuru, Eldoret and Embu wish to engage a seasoned aggressive Corporate Account Manager to join their highly motivated and cohesive team.

Job Summary

Responsible for driving the sacco business growth by developing new business opportunities, managing, retaining, deepening and expanding corporate business relationships with corporate clients and large-group members to meet sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty. 

Duties

  1. Prospect, qualify, and acquire new SACCO corporate accounts in line with the company’s growth strategy.
  2. Identify, Manage and develop additional business opportunities within the existing customer accounts in collaboration with other sales team while ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the corporate sector.
  4. Understand client business challenges and align the sacco value proposition to address their needs, financial objectives and pain points.
  5. Work towards defined quarterly and annual sales targets, providing regular pipeline and performance reports and support the retail sales team to meet and exceed the firm sales targets.
  6. Own and lead the complete business development or sales cycle, including prospecting, solution presentations, proposal development, negotiations, deals closure and after sales service follow-up.
  7. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
  8. Keep accurate records of opportunities, activities, and customer interactions while providing regular pipeline and performance reports.

Requirements:

  1. Outstanding presentation, relationship management and negotiation skills with a desire to thrive in a corporate business structure.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of account management experience with a proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
  3. Experience working with and a solid understanding SACCOs operations are an added advantage.
  4. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build compelling business cases for clients through proposal writing.
  5. Self-driven, and innovative, results-oriented, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  6. At least a bachelors degree in business related course, those with sales and marketing qualifications have an added advantage.

Compensation:

A retainer  of Kes 60k with a highly competitive commission structure will be offered to the best candidates.
