Sales Representative {High quality gym equipment}

Our client that specializes in strength, fitness and conditioning equipment, including weightlifting barbells, plates, racks and other functional fitness equipment that serve home gyms, hotel and apartment fitness centers, CrossFit boxes, and military, collegiate, and professional sports teams is looking for a Sales Representative.

Summary

The position is of an Inside Sales Representative reporting directly to the Managing Director stationed at our client Nairobi offices located or elsewhere as reasonably guided by them.

Duties and responsibilities

To manage the organizational sales process and develop business sales plans that covers sales, revenue and expense controls through set sales targets while tracking sales goals,  sales results and ensure the company sales success by:

  1. Actively seeking out, prospecting and engaging potential customers coupled with generating leads, both via in office research and potential client site visits,
  2. Establishing, growing and maintaining a positive business and customer relationship with clients through the entire sales process and beyond.
  3. Setting up meetings between the client and the CEO for large accounts
  4. Preparing, presenting and facilitating negotiations of all contracts with prospective clients while focusing on closing sales
  5. Giving the management regular feedback on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitors activities, and potential for new products and services
  6. Giving regular and timely sales reports and all other related activities.
  7. Any other duties assigned to you and as elaborated in the job description which forms part of this contract.

Qualifications, skills and requirements:

  1. A Degree in business management, sales and marketing, or business management courses are preferred.
  2. At least 3 years’ experience in sales of high-end gym equipment with a record of achieving targets and growing customer loyalty,
  3. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and successfully managing customer relationships.
  4. Ability to effectively communicate, present customers with relevant product information and enable them to make purchase decisions.
  5.  Ability to create customer rapport and build long term loyalty with Strategic Prospecting Skills
  6. Ability to learn, understand products and handle customer reservations, questions or complaints.
  7. Excellent interpersonal, active listening, negotiation skills deals and ability to close sales
  8. High level of reliability, integrity and able to function with minimal supervision.
  9. A self-starter, highly self-motivated and an aggressive person.

Compensation:

A guiding target compensation of a base salary of upto 60 KES/month, with a 50% bonus upon reaching monthly targets will be offered to the best candidate with the right attitude, experience and qualifications.
