Waiter (Waitress) cum a Sales Officer Deadline 22/02/2023

Our client a restaurant located in Nairobi serving medium to high-end clients with fantastic food and drinks, fabulous ambiance and wonderful choice of music operating extended hours is looking for a Waitress cum a Sales Officer.

Job Summary:

Welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders, communicating  effectively to staff and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks while identifying new markets, business opportunities and increase sales.

Duties

1. Staying attentive, delivering food to the guests and ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests.
2. Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally to ensure zero cancellations.
3. Up-sell when appropriate.
4. Arrange table settings and keep them clean and tidy at all times.
5. Collect payments, checking with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
6. Drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience to boost food and drinks sales,
7. Deploying successful regular sales campaigns through face to face, field, online and other channels,

Requirements

1. A  Diploma in a business related field like hospitality management, hotel and catering, marketing, business or management.
2. Excellent negotiation, customer service skills orientation and strong communication skills with work experience in service industry including sales in hotels.
3. Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment, flexible, to fit in unpredictable shift system with long working hours.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish outstanding relationship with customers.
5. High level of integrity with excellent customer service skills.
6. Energetic and aggressive with personal selling experience with a wide sales network.

Salary

A salary guide of upto Kshs 20,000.00 will be offered to the best candidate deepening on qualifications and experience
