Our client, a new standard size restaurant  is seeking to employ a Restaurant Supervisor at their Lavington branch.

Job Summary

To manage all aspects of a restaurant’s operation, team schedules resolve any arising matter and offer service leadership to ensure that customers are happy enough to return to the restaurant, as well as encourage others to visit.

Specific Duties

1. To ensure customers receive excellent service and great food, and that they have a memorable quality experience by maintaining prompt and friendly patron services,
2. Supervise day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service delivery and operations synergy.
3. Work with suppliers to order food and non-food supplies, checks deliveries and maintain inventory records to ensure the front office and the kitchen are well-stocked at all times.
4. Champion sales and marketing efforts as an avenue to business growth and sustainability.
5. Oversee the wait, hosting staff and the kitchen staff coupled with designing staff schedules, sign-off hours and delegating tasks.
6. Conclusively handling customer inquiries, challenges and complaints with a view of changing to business opportunities.
7. Supervise work area, cleaning and maintenance of equipment and ensures adherence to all safety procedures pertaining to work methods, equipment operation and fire safety.
8.  Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety protocols

8. At least a  Diploma in a business related field like hospitality management, hotel and catering, marketing, business or management.

Compensation

A negotiable salary will be offered to the best candidate.
