Corporate Field Sales Representative (Laboratory Equipment)

Our client a leading provider of  a “one stop shop” complete lab solutions to technical institutions, manufacturers, tertiary colleges, schools, hospitals, research centres and private laboratories through timely supply of high-quality laboratory equipment, apparatus and kits of highly competitive prices, excellent service and technical support is seeking to employ aggressive, focused and self-motivated Corporate Field Sales Representative (Laboratory Equipment) with relevant experience to be located at Nairobi Industrial area.

Duties

  1. Actively respond to tender opportunities by thoroughly reviewing the tender documents and preparing comprehensive proposals including pricing details, and submitting the proposal within the specified deadline while ensuring compliance with the tendering process and regulations. 
  2. Aggressively pursue new sales opportunities additionally build and maintain existing customer relationships
  3. Collaborate with channel partners to develop and close sales opportunities.
  4. Conduct site visits and virtual meetings with clients in order to achieve the objectives set within the territory
  5. Establish and maintain loyalty with current and future clients with an aim of attracting repeat business.
  6. Successfully implement strategies to improve client solution opportunities.
  7. Strictly adhere to sales goals and performance metrics.
  8. Monitor market developments to identify and assess potential new customers and opportunities
  9. Attend and resolve customer queries and escalate feedback to the technical team;
  10. Prepare and submit sales reports regularly.

Requirements 

  1. At least a diploma or a bachelor’s degree in a business related course, sciences or any other related field.
  2. Sales work experience in the laboratory industry or equivalent including tendering and proposal writing.
  3. Knowledgeable of diverse laboratory product applications with a good understanding of tender process and contract terms.
  4. Understanding of, competitive bids, purchase orders, and vendor relationship management
  5. Proven capability to negotiate, close business effectively and meet sales goals.
  6. Outstanding interpersonal and persuasive communication abilities.
  7. Proper time management, problem-solving and outstanding analytical skills
  8. Ability to work under pressure and fast-paced environment.
  9. Computer literate, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, emails, etc

Compensation

A working wage  plus highly rewarding commissions, travelling expenses and other awards will be offered to the best candidate.
