Our client a rapidly growing manufacturing innovative company offering solutions that deals in production and distribution of their innovative products like Hermetic Grain(Cereals) Storage Bags, Garbage Bags, Silage Bags and Mulching Films, to corporates, institutions like schools, farmers and their co-operatives is seeking to employ a Sales Manager to be located in Nairobi.

The role Purpose

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team to generate leads, reach its sales targets, hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs by creating sales plans, providing guidance, mentoring, training and motivating the members through setting quotas, evaluating and adjusting performance while developing the processes that drive sales.


  1. Responsible for supervising and organizing the sales team, coordinating lead generation, meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective planning that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls and finally sales budgeting.
  2. Overseeing the overall activities and performance of the sales team by setting individual sales targets, tracking sales goals, and facilitate continuous on-job training of salespeople.
  3. Devising strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets and meeting planned sales goals through the sales crew and reporting results as necessary.
  4. Developing the sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge training to ensure the team is delivering the desired results.
  5. Make critical decisions on promoting the organization, the brand and its products coupled with being a source of inspiration for the team members.
  6. Understand the ideal customers and how they relate to the products while maintaining and improving relationships with the new and existing clients.
  7. Maintain the necessary data and records for decision making and future reference


  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration or a related field.
  2. Proven previous sales-related experience with a track record of success in planning and implementing sales strategies and at least 2+ years in sales management within a corporate setting.
  3. Superb leadership ability to lead a sales team with experience in customer relationship management.
  4. Strong analytical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and exceptional customer service skills.
  5. Having the desire to be a successful sales manager and to commit to success in sales management.
  6. Sales process skills of pipeline, relationships building, social selling, and sales closing management skills.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  8. Ability to coach, motivate, mentor salespeople while holding them accountable.
  9. Having a positive outlook with unique ability to take responsibility.
  10. Willingness to work overtime on need basis.


A guiding salary of Kshs 80,000.00 (Shillings Eighty thousand only) will be offered to the best candidate with the right attitude, best skills, qualifications and relevant experiences.
