Liquor Shop Supervisor Deadline 15/03/2023

Our client a vibrant Liquor Store located at Parklands Nairobi is seeking to hire a customer-focused, energetic Liquor Shop Attendant  to act as the supervisor with skills and experience in Operations management, Marketing and Sales of liquor business.

Summary

Responsible in overseeing the daily operations of a retail store including marketing, supervising operations, enforcing proper procedures, assisting customers ensuring product availability and pricing while ensuring the store’s sales targets are achieved and business growth is steadily maintained.

Duties

1. Improve sales volumes by presenting, promoting, marketing and selling the store liquor products  to existing and prospective customers.
2. Make product sales presentations, and marketing additional products to potential and interested buyers through inhouse sales promotions .
3. Engage the distributors in promotion activities including organising wine tasting and other in house promotion, activations and related initiatives
4. Improve the store visibility and sales using marketing  and social media campaigns, including Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram and WhatsApp.
5. Develop, keep and use a comprehensive customer database to be used for marketing activations and targeted activities aimed at propelling brand messaging and market placement of the store.
6. Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their queries, providing updates on social media performance, and presenting reports on campaign results.
7. Oversee the store operations by monitoring inventory, organizing work schedules, and providing store performance reports
8. Coordinating the shipping and receiving of stock, record restock inventory and manage product displays.
9. Planning and conducting promotional or activation events to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders and enhance client loyalty.
10. Assist customers with their purchases in a friendly and professional manner to their satisfaction while solving problems at a day-to-day level and answer inquiries about products, pricing, and promotions.
11. Prepare regular sales reports based on activities and provide a record of expenses incurred

Desired Personal Traits 

1. Mature (28-35 years) and responsible person who is of high integrity,  honest and having strong moral principles with a valid medical  and good conduct certificates.
2. At least a degree, diploma or equivalent with excellent basic computer skills and willingness to work on shifts and some Saturdays..
3. At least 1 year proven track record within a sales capacity, ideally within a retail or customer service role in the alcohol and beverage industry.
4. Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and operating cash registers.
5. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is preferred but not required.
8. Knowledge of liquor products and industry trends is a definite advantage.

A working wage of upto Kes 30,000.00  own sales will be offered to the most suitable candidate.
