Our client, ICEA LION Life Assurance Company Limited, a one-stop and a leading insurance, pension and investment financial services provider in East Africa, with a network of branches spread across the region is seeking to recruit ambitious, self-driven, and motivated by great returns and growth oriented Insurance Sales Agents to work in Nairobi at Upper-hill, George Williamson Branch.

Duties

  1. Selling ordinary life insurance products professionally, creating consumer awareness/ customers’ sensitization initiatives, processing insurance transactions within defined terms and conditions.
  2. Identifying potential business opportunities and marketing initiatives and seek the necessary support through the line manager in actualizing these into revenues.
  3. Meet set targets on insurance business, leveraging on the existing and new business clientele.
  4. Ensuring policy documents are delivered to the clients on timely basis and acknowledgement letters received back by the firm.
  5. Contribute to the branch meetings and offer valuable customer feedback / ideas contributing towards the growth of business and meeting targets
  6. Ensure clients who have pending issues with the company are kept abreast on progress for the same

Requirements

  1. A degree or diploma in a business related course. Those with a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance will have a definite added advantage.
  2. A proven track record of good performance as a sales person in the insurance or, finance or banking sector.
  3. Must have a minimum Mean grade of C Plain in K.C.S.E with a C Plain in Mathematics and English.
  4. A mature person of at least 27 years of age and above.
  5. Good planning and organization skills with the ability to deliver effectively under strict deadlines.
  6. Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills with ability to work and develop long term relationships.
  7. Co-operative, assertive, team player and able to work independently and offer effective solutions.
  8. Results oriented, self-driven, responsible, reliable person with leadership skills and business acumen to readily spot opportunities.
  9. A creative, proactive, passionate and innovative individual with a passion for excellent results.
