Quantity Surveyor (QS) Deadline 19/08/2025

Our client a Civil Engineering Company carrying our telecommunication projects in the East African region ;located at Ruiru is looking for a lady Quantity Surveyor (QS), to report to the Commercial Services Manager.

a. Preparing, negotiating and analyzing BoQs, cost estimates, for tenders and contracts, and payment certificates.

b. Provide post-project cost analysis and lessons learned.

c. Conduct site measurements, monitor progress, and manage variations

d. Review tender documents, perform take-offs, and prepare competitive bids/RFQs.

e. Source and evaluate supplier / subcontractor quotations.

f. Identify new business opportunities and maintain client relationships.

g. Draft and manage contracts, purchase orders, and procurement schedules.

g. Recommend procurement strategies (traditional, design & build, etc.)

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related  field. Ladies are encouraged to apply.

2. Previous hands-on three years’ experience in tendering processes experience as a QS  with  site exposure is critical.

3. Proven track record in tendering, bidding, and business development.

4. Proficiency in QS software and strong contract knowledge (FIDIC, JBC).

Compensation

A starting guiding negotiable wage of  Kes 35,000.00  depending on qualifications and experience together with other allowances will be offered to the most suitable candidates.
