Our client a fast growing Fintech company providing unique lending financial solutions to numerous firms’ employees through products that are easily accessible with a predictable and affordable repayment plan through a comprehensive web-based application system and an innovative mobile lending platform is seeking to employ an IT System Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and managing the firm Software as a Service (SaaS) providers, IT infrastructure, and system operations including ensuring smooth system functionality, managing user access, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting internal teams with IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

a. System Management

• Add, delete, and suspend users in our back-end system
• Log payments and ensure accurate records
• Set up new client accounts and activate/deactivate clients as needed
• Train relevant stakeholders on system usage and best practices
• Add or modify employee details within the system
• Test new features and communicate feedback to the SaaS provider
• Conduct periodic testing of existing features, identify bugs, and report issues to the SaaS vendor

b. IT & Website Management

• Manage vendors for:
  • Domain hosting
  • Email hosting
  • Website updates
• Oversee SaaS vendors, including but not limited to:
  • Freshdesk Omni
• ClickUp
• Microsoft 365
• Loan Management system /

c. Collaboration & Vendor Management

• Work closely with SaaS providers to ensure system reliability
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues and system improvements
• Manage internal IT needs and support teams with troubleshooting

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Education & Experience

At least a Bachelor’s degree holders in IT, Computer Science, or an other related field

Candidates with a work experience of 2-5+ years (entry-level to mid-level) are encouraged to apply

2. Technical Skills

• Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new software
• Experience managing SaaS solutions is a plus
• Basic website and IT infrastructure management skills

3. Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills – ability to liaise with vendors and internal teams
• Problem-solving mindset – ability to troubleshoot system issues effectively
• Ambition & initiative – willingness to take ownership of tasks and grow within the role

Compensation:

A negotiable pay of between  Ksh 50,000.00 – 75,000.00 per month will be offered to the best candidate depending on qualifications, relevance in work experience in a fintech, technical skills, attitude and additional technical talents.
