Our client a fast growing, women-run manufacturer and a trusted brand  with over 50 non-toxic cleaning products that are safe for humans and the environment, powered by African-grown ingredients is seeking for Human Resources Senior Associate with Zoho People – Human Resources information System experience 

Job Summary

  1. Seeking for a proactive and results-driven HR Associate to lead the HR department by ensuring smooth operations across various functions including administration, recruitment, and optimization, skilled in managing stakeholder relationships, facilitating decision-making processes, and supporting organizational growth through strategic HR practices.
  2. To play a key role in shaping the organizational structure, providing guidance to employees for success, and fostering a positive workplace culture A strong blend of HR expertise, leadership, and communication skills.

Duties

HR Operations & Administration:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee records management, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws 
  • Implement and maintain Zoho People HRIS, ensuring complete migration of current tools and information.
  • Refresh and optimize HR procedures to ensure efficiency in the department and support of managers, employees, and growth.
  • Maintain HR policies, facilitating thoughtful discussion with leadership and drive to conclusion. 

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, either independently or with a recruiter, from job posting to candidate selection, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Develop talent pipelines and manage talent sourcing, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Stakeholder Management & Decision Making:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration be tween HR and other departments.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes within the leadership team, ensuring HR initiatives are aligned with business strategy.
  • Provide insights to senior leadership on organizational development and people-related matters, driving to optimized productivity of the team.
  • Manage the HR strategic plan, reporting to senior leadership on a monthly basis.

Organizational Design & Optimization:

  • Analyze and advise on the organizational structure to ensure roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines support business needs and growth.
  • Implement and support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational shifts or new processes.
  • Optimize HR systems and practices to improve efficiency and overall employee experience.

Employee Development & Success Support:

  • Lead initiatives that promote professional growth, including performance management, training programs, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees at all levels to help them navigate their career development and achieve success within the organization.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that supports employee engagement, motivation, and retention.

Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and transparent manner.
  • Work with the General Counsel to ensure legal backing for all HR handlings.
  • Ensure a healthy work environment by promoting clear communication, fostering respect, and handling sensitive issues effectively.

Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership on key people-related data, trends, and recommendations.
  • Use data to drive continuous improvement in HR processes and outcomes.

Requirements 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with HR certification.
  2. Proficiency in HRIS, particularly Zoho People(must indicate on CV)
  3. A strong blend of HR expertise, leadership, and communication skills.
  4. At least four (4+) years’ of experience in HR, demonstrating capacity in hard and soft skills.
  5. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation

An attractive negotiable wage will be offered to the best candidate.
