Our client renowned bar and restaurant offering Nyama Choma and other delicious delicacies operating extended hours, along Thika Road Superhighway  area  is looking for a Supervisor  to support the smooth running of its services.

Job Summary:

To  contribute to a positive dining experience and the profitability of the establishment  by ensuring smooth operation of activities in the launch, and maintaining an excellent relationships with customers.

Duties

1. Ensure delivery of high-quality service, respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally to promote customer satisfaction  and repeat client patronage,
2. Maintain quality control for all food and drinks served while managing inventory,
3. Managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with all food health and safety requirements,
4. Creating and managing team schedules, oversee food preparation,
5. Plan and supervise marketing and promotional activities to attract more customers
6. Support event management activities including in planning, venue coordination, service management, staff supervision, customer service, inventory management, as a lead to successful smooth events operations.
7. Managing operations, workflow and perform opening and closing duties
8. Training new hires, overseeing staff, helping to resolve employee issues and disputes,
9. Conducting marketing, promotion, and sales drives

Desired attributes

1. A degree or a diploma in hospitality management, hotel management and catering from a recognized college,
2. At least 3-4 years of experience in enhancing service delivery and guest satisfaction in a busy fast-paced dining restaurant environments especially in choma zone type of hospitality industry.
3. Experience in managing events including sales, marketing, planning and smooth execution of events for over 1000 pax is a must.
4.  Computer literate with capacity to generate regular reports
5. A mature person (Man 35-45)  with high level of integrity and excellent customer service skills,
6.  Capacity to work for long hours with little supervision
7. Excellent interpersonal skills with a keen eye to conflict resolution,
8. Ability to work under pressure and handle various tasks simultaneously

Compensation

A guiding monthly wage of Kes 40,000.00 will be given to the most suitable candidate depending on one experience and qualifications
