A Travel Chauffeur deadline 16/05/2023

A renowned executive travel, chauffeur driven car hire, tours and hotel accommodation company in Nairobi along Ngong Road offering services to individuals and corporates is seeking to employ a professional driver to work as a private chauffeur.

We are looking for a driver with a pleasing personality, excellent road sense, well versed in operating various navigation tools to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for the clients, good geographical and travel business knowledge.

Duties:

1. Transporting high-profile clients and driving them to specified locations including opening/closing the door and greeting them in a polite and courteous manner,
2. Ensuring that the vehicle remains in excellent condition with sufficient fuel to guarantee the clients are comfortable throughout the journey
3. To aid clients with lifting, loading and storing personal belongings or luggage carefully and safely in the vehicle and providing them with appropriate suggestions on understand their travel needs.
4. To research routes and provide journey information to clients and offer assistance in finding nearby lodges, hotels, and guest houses.
5. Using navigation tools to find the fastest route and check traffic updates before starting the journey
6. Running other office errands and other duties like collecting parcels on the client’s behalf
7. Abiding by the road safety standards and traffic rules
8. Maintain the cars in sparkling clean condition, and fixing minor issues
9. Ensuring timely booking car servicing appointments and repairs.
10. Undertaking airport pick ups and drop when needed

Requirements

1. A holder of a valid driver’s license with at least a diploma in any discipline
2. Experience working as a Chauffeur for the Hospitality industry will be a definite added advantage.
3. Familiarity with travel technology including Google maps
4. A mature person of high integrity, flexible, dependable with a high level of reliability.
5. Excellent road and traffic sense
6. A highly pleasant, well-groomed person with a welcoming attitude
7. Willingness to travel for long hours and on public holidays
8. Excellent communication skills and fluent in English and Kiswahili
