Our client, a premier Fintech financial services provider (payroll-backed) helping employees access finances in a fast, fair, and flexible  style when they need them most by partnering with top employers and Saccos is looking for Business Analyst who is an analytical, a problem-solver, critical thinker with attention to detail capacity.

The person

We are looking for a sharp, solutions-oriented Business Analyst who thrives on improving how things work to play a key role in driving digital transformation and digging into customer data to spot trends, build KPIs, and help shape smarter products and strategy.

The person will also take the lead in managing internal workflows and processes, introducing automation, and performing analytics to help drive business decisions as well as manage business processes.

Key Responsibilities

a. Reconcile system data with external sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

b. Analyse customer data to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

c. Identify and interpret trends from customer behaviour to support product improvement and strategic planning.

d. Lead efforts to digitize manual processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

d. Automate routine tasks using appropriate tools and technology.

e. Collaborate across teams to gather requirements, understand pain points, and design data- or process-driven solutions.

f. Monitor and report on performance of implemented solutions to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.

g. Maintain clear documentation for new processes, tools, or automation systems for internal knowledge-sharing and onboarding.

h. Proactively identify inefficiencies or risks in current operational workflows and recommend practical, tech-enabled solutions.

Qualifications:

a. A bachelor’s degree in science or  economics  in mathematics and statistics; Data Science, Business Studies, Finance, Accounts, BBIT, or any other related course with professional qualification as business analyst or data analyst.

c. Professional qualification in business analysis and data analyst is a strong plus.

Work Experience:

a. 3-5 years’ experience in a dynamic business environment encompassing at least 3 years of professional experience in Business Analysis.

b. Significant experience in data reconciliation and customer data analysis in a financial services firm or FinTech industry

c. Experience with SQL and processing large data sets is critical

d. Familiarity with workflow management platforms (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Trello) is also key.

Others:

a. Strong analytical mind-set with high attention to detail

b. Understanding of or interest in automation and AI-based tools.

c. An extremely mature person of high integrity standards and inherent ethical moral values

d. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits

A guiding Salary of Ksh  ranging from Kshs 50,000.00 to Kshs  80,000.00  will be offered to the best candidate with the most best-fit qualifications, skills,  talents, experience and attitude.
